Caring Citizen ESLR : Community Service

Last Friday, our grade had an advisement to Pattaya but sadly, I didn't go because of my sickness and I miss my chance to help others. They divided into 3 groups, visiting blind people, play with the kids, and last go to the children village, help painting stuff and farming. We had 6 buses, 2 buses for 1 group. On Wednesday, there are a bus sign up. If I get an opportunity, I want to attend it.

Introduction

Hi my name is T, I'm a 13 years old student from Ruamrudee International School. When school's over, I either play games or play sports. I like to play first person shooting games and sports games. Now I'm playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefields 3, and I also like Modern Warfare 3 more. Usually, I play online (that is when you compete with other). For the Sports games, I like to play both Winning Eleven and Fifa. There are many sports that I liked to play, soccer, tennis, basketball, table tennis but I'm not good in any of these. I wish that you know me a little now and thanks for reading my blogs.

Terrorists or Patriots

We have been learning about American Revolution. Boston tea party is our topic and I've been ask that which side is correct. From my perspective, I think that the colonists are both terrorists and patriots. I believe that the terrorists has every rights to control the colonists. If I were the terrorists, I would be very angry because of the British actions. On the other side, the patriots just need more freedom. They can trade only with the mother country, that made it unfair.

For example, the red shirt, most of them came from the northerneast of Thailand. Their cities aren't developing just like the southern part. On the other hand, Bangkok is the most develop city and the government have it's priority there. So, the red shirt are allowed to claimed for rights. But, red shirt can be pronounced as both terrorists and patriots because it contains the use of violence.

Flood (Innovation)

I think that floating toilet is the most important innovation. If there were no floating toilet, how can people use the toilet. If they don't use, the water will become more dirty. What would it be if people does not have toilet to use? I believe that EM ball is important too because it clean the trash out. If the water is clean we don't have to worry about disease. I think most of the people will don't mind walking through nice and clean water.

Now, there are still big amount of water out there and we must find a way to makes the water return to it place without passing Bangkok. If the water doesn't evaporate. It will ruin the water cycle. If I can help, I would invent a machine that heat the water up and make it evaporate. This way the water in the river will not overflow and everything will return to normal.

IDENTITY

Identity mean who you are or how you react being yourself. For me, identity is similiar to personality. Some people doesn't respect other identity and want to change other people to be like him. I figured that no one can change your identity if you believed in yourself. Who are you is more important than changing yourself do you can fit with your friends. Identity is what represents you, its unique. Everyone have something that they are good at. Don't think that if you get lower grade than your friends mean that your friends are better than you in everything.

My first project in RIS is related to identity too, its name Who are you project. Its about my family, friends, hobbies and nationality. Its play a big part in hobbies. What I like and what I dislike. What would this world be if everyone were the same. It would be very boring. If you want to be different, be different in a good way.

Metacognition

Metacognition is thinking about what you're doing. We experience metacognition with our partner. We doing creative thinking and speaking while we creating animal clay. We look at a picture and we demonstrate by looking at a picture and think what the picture is. I experience that metacognition can help you know more about what you're thinking and it is very fun in class.
